QUESTION OF THE DAY
We hear these terms all the time but we don’t always use them correctly. Your business needs to have its purpose (mission) defined before you can choose its destination (vision).
Looking at the graphic above - what do you think?
Is it your mission or purpose that gets you out of bed in the morning, or are you driven by reaching your destination? Things are changing all the time. Your destination (vision) will shift and that is fine, but you need to ensure you always have your purpose in mind. By doing so, you can choose your direction (strategy) and continuously evaluate if you are on course. More importantly, you can evaluate if your destination is still relevant. Individuals have different views on this topic but for us, the purpose will always win the day.
Use our four questions approach to validate your purpose, destination, and direction(s) for your business, create unity and alignment across all your business players.
